Peloy Chair in Learning Disabilities and Professor of Special Education. Asha Jitendra examines how designing mathematics interventions, or programs informed by research in mathematics and special education, can support student learning. With $1.4 million in funding from the U.S. Department of Education’s Institute of Education Sciences, she and her research team will develop a multiplicative reasoning intervention and work with third-grade teachers to implement the intervention in their classrooms.
